The Look Of Love – Bella Andre (review)

She’d shut it out for so long
She’d forgotten what it was,
How it felt,
What it meant

She’d forgotten how it made her feel
How to react,
How to say it back when it was said

She’d forgotten how it made her blue cheeks red,
Her green eyes glisten,
Her iced heart melt

She’d forgotten how it made the butterflies flutter,
Her heart jitter,
Her tongue stutter

She’d blocked it out for so long
She’d forgotten how it felt to crush,
To infatuate,
How it felt to fall in love.

-By Aliceia Dawkins (Yours truly)

Chase Sullivan is content with his life as a photographer and his freedom to go to bed with any model of his choosing on any night. While returning from a photo shoot one night in the middle of a hail storm, Chase notices a car off the side of the road up ahead and a woman in trouble. Being the gentleman he is Chase pulls over to see if he could offer her some help but he never expected to find the most beautiful woman he’d ever laid eyes on with an overwhelming pull to want to love and protect her with every fiber of his being.

Chloe Peterson is having one of the worst nights of her life in a string of really bad nights. Running from everything she’d ever known, her soon-to-be ex husband, her job, her home, the last thing she needs is for her car to be totaled in the middle of a hail storm. This gorgeous man who pulls up to help her could be the change in her sting of bad luck, but given what she is running from Chloe second guesses trusting him.

The Look Of Love puts an interesting twist on a romance story. A book that takes you on a journey as Chloe and Chase – two characters you can’t help but fall in love with – discover what it really means to love. Sullivan Tour Badge

  1. Awww, great review and what a fantastic poem to celebrate Chase and Chloe’s love story. Thanks for taking part in our gigantic tour, and if you have time to cross-post your reviews to Amazon and GoodReads, that would be awesome 😀
